    Mastodon State Historic Site Presents: Ice Age Mammals and Prehistoric Man Saturday July 30th 10:30 a.m. Jefferson County Library Arnold Branch Free ice cream while supplies last! Learn about the local Pleistocene environment that mastodons and other prehistoric creatures lived in. Replica fossils will be on display for the discussion. Participants can also discover the atlatl, a tool used by prehistoric people to hunt large animals like mastodons. This all-ages program will be presented by a senior historic site specialist from Mastodon State Historic Site. Registration requested!
