    Event Description:
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE February 13, 2019 Family Care Chiropractic Launches Four-Week Smoking Cessation Program Arnold, Mo. ? The Family Care Chiropractic Center, serving Arnold and the South County area, announces the launch of a four-week smoking cessation program which includes hypnosis, relaxation techniques with massage, nutritional recommendations, and one-on-one coaching. ?Quitting is a process, it doesn?t happen overnight. But with the right support, anyone who wants to stop smoking can make a lasting, healthy change with our new program,? explains Dr. Diana Toler, Family Care Chiropractic Center physician. ?Our goal is for participants to stop smoking in just four weeks. They must be 100 percent committed to becoming a non-smoker, as my team will be asking them to do things they would not normally do.? Many smoking cessation programs only use one method to help individuals stop smoking with little or no focus on helping the individual to resist the urge to return to smoking in the long-term. The Family Care Chiropractic Center cessation program is a stand-out as it combines several proven cessation methods to help clients quit smoking while targeting underlying factors such as stress which can trigger a return to smoking. ?Hypnosis is one of the least invasive and most successful methods to quitting smoking,? said Toler. ?Paired with nutritional recommendations to decrease stress responses, hypnosis adds balance and improves neurotransmitter function, and massage promotes relaxation and detoxification.? The Family Care Chiropractic Center smoking cessation program is non-invasive, does not rely on medications which may cause side effects, and participants will be given a recorded exercise to listen to for future support after the end of the program. Participants will acquire skills to extinguish the desire to smoke during times when they may be more susceptible to relapse. They will also learn how to use nutritional recommendations to decrease stress responses, calm the mind, and improve focus, digestion, and cognitive reasoning. ?I know it is not easy to quit or to change behaviors. Participants in our integrated cessation program will enhance their health and well-being, and enjoy the lifelong improvement of their entire bodies and positive effects on their personal and professional lives,? adds Toler. Early registration for the four-week program is $200 per participant and can be paid for with Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or a Health Savings Account (HSA). Early-bird registration savings are available February 20 through March 6. After that, participants can register through March 19 for $220. Participants are expected to attend all four cessation classes scheduled March 20, March 27, April 3, and April 10. All classes are from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Family Care Chiropractic Center, 2192 Tenbrook Road in Arnold. Register by calling 636-282-8333 or visit the Family Care Chiropractic Center on facebook.com/familycarestl/ and submit a message. The program includes care from Dr. Diana Toler, Sommer Farris, and Deborah Klasek. Dr. Diana Toler is a chiropractic physician and functional medicine provider. Toler focuses on the underlying causes of dysfunction before disease and chronic illness become apparent. She treats the root cause using chiropractic, nutrition, epigenetic inducing supplementation, and lifestyle medicine. Toler is a graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic where she earned a Doctorate of Chiropractic and Master of Science in Nutrition and Human Performance. Sommer Farris is a certified neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) practitioner, hypnotherapist, metaphysical healer, and health coach specializing in Reiki and Emotional Freedom Techniques. Farris owns and operates Sommer Health which concentrates on social, physical, mental health wellness and empowerment. Deborah Klasek, licensed massage therapist, is the owner of Klasek Massage and Bodywork. Focusing on pillossage therapy, a technique that utilizes heat, and a broad comfortable pressure over a client?s clothing, Klasek?s treatments relieve tension, stress, and promote balanced autonomic nervous function.
