We will be making some DIY cleaning formulas in class, so it is important to register by 10 a.m. Friday, March 29 so we have enough supplies for everyone. Dive In! to learn about the dirty secrets of household cleaners with Christina Ritter, speaker and environmental education instructor. In this presentation, you will discover ways to reduce your family's exposure to potentially hazardous chemicals, biological and particle contaminants from cleaners that can adversely impact indoor air quality and your health. You’ll also leave with some examples of safer cleaning alternatives that are healthier for you, your family, your pets, and the earth. Uncover the dirt behind conventional cleaners, many of which are petroleum based, and learn about some eco-friendly cleaning options in a fun, hands-on demonstration of DIY formulas you can make at home. Registrants should also bring one of their favorite cleaners for an in-class activity.
