    1. How many years have you been in business and what inspired you to start/purchase/work with this business?

I have been in funeral service for 20 years, over 5 years with St. Louis Cremation. St. Louis Cremations mission statement inspired me to work for them.

    2. What is your background and how did you develop your skill set?

My background is mortuary science, I worked for 9 years with Practice Anatomy and Surgical Education at St. Louis University, where I was the manager/coordinator for the anatomy lab. My passion has always been funeral service. So I switched gears and went back to it.

     3. What has been your biggest success to date?

Going back to college to earn my degree with 4 very young children and a household to run.

     4. What inspires you to hit the ground running each morning?

Being able to provide Quality meaningful  service to families in their time of grief.

     5. What’s an interesting fact about your business that most people don’t know?

St. Louis Cremation also runs National Body Donation Program. This program offers family cost free cremation through body donation. The loved ones body is donated to science and the family receives the ashes back as soon as the donation process is complete.

     6. As someone doing business in Arnold, how does the Chamber help you

The Chamber  has been very welcoming, I appreciate the updates via email and the invitations to the various events. Rob from the Leader Publication stopped by to introduce himself and tell me about some upcoming events, Joann Etling  reached out to me and has been very helpful.

    7. When you’re not working, what is your favorite thing to be doing?

Relax and spend time with my children and grandchildren, go fishing  and read a good book.
